Focus on LAW
Lane Summers Moorman practices in the area of general corporate law.
Ms. Moorman joined Bone McAllester Norton in 2006 after initially working as a summer associate in 2005. Prior to that time, she worked as a corporate and litigation paralegal for various firms in Tennessee and New York while pursuing a Master of Music in Cello Performance.
In 1997, Ms. Moorman earned her Bachelor of Music and graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University. She earned her Master of Music in 2004 and Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis in 2006. While at the University of Memphis, she served as a research assistant to James R. Smoot, Dean of the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
Ms. Moorman is a member of the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations and the Lawyers’ Association for Women. She was a participant in the Young Leaders Council 2007 spring class and is a provisional member of the Junior League of Nashville. She continues to play the cello as a member of the Arcadia String Quartet of Memphis. She is also an avid runner and has run in the Nashville and Marine Corps marathons.
