Bone McAllester Norton Congratulates Gigi's Cupcake's Gina Butler on Award Wins
From Woman of Influence to Entrepreneur of the Year, Gigi’s Cupcakes Founder Gina Butler is getting some well deserved recognition. Opening the doors in February 2008 with $33 in the checking account and a $4,500 rent payment, Gigi’s quickly saw people lining up out the door and two years later has grown to a $2.5 million business with 14 franchise locations.
In January, the Nashville Business Journal recognized Gina among 30 women who are making great contributions in Middle Tennessee, honoring her as a Woman of Influence Award winner in the Entrepreneur category. And, most recently, the Nashville City Paper named Gina among the 2010 Entrepreneurs of the Year, one of only nine honors awarded.
