Stephen Zralek Co-Chairs Panel for Leadership Nashville Alumni Association on Children’s Literacy

The panel was moderated by Lisa Wiltshire (Executive Director & Founder of Early Learning Collaborative) and featured well-respected education professionals Aliya Washington Smith (MNPS Director of Elementary Literacy), Sharon Roberts (Chief K-12 Impact Officer of SCORE) and Lagra Newman (Founder and Head of School at Purpose Prep), a for a discussion on the negative impact of school disruption on children’s literacy. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the conversations around childhood education and literacy are more important than ever as students face new challenges in their schooling.
