Bone McAllester Norton attorney Mandy Strickland Floyd has been selected as a winner of the Nashville Business Journal’s 2021 40 Under 40 Awards. This annual award recognizes local professionals under the age of 40 for their impact on the Nashville community and business sectors.
Mandy, who returned to our firm following two years with the ACLU of Tennessee, is a passionate civil litigator in the fields of labor and employment law, constitutional and civil rights, education law, and more. Mandy has also previously clerked for the Honorable Richard H. Dinkins of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, where she first honed her exemplary appellate expertise. It is her extensive and varied experience that makes Mandy such a dynamic representative to shape the future of Nashville’s legal industry.
Mandy also serves her community through a variety of roles for professional organizations. She is a dedicated member of the Nashville Bar Foundation Leadership Forum, Tennessee Bar Association, Harry Phillips American Inn of Court and more. One of her passions is the Lawyers’ Association for Women, where she has served as the treasurer, co-chair of the diversity committee, and newsletter editor. Mandy is also a certified chocolatier and owned a small artisan chocolate shop prior to her legal career.
